What do I get?<\/span>
A Walk-a-Payung t-shirt and umbrella, a pair of sunglasses or spectacle frame (while stocks last), breakfast and goodie bag.
Participants are also eligible for a Lucky Draw and Fun Quiz.<\/p>\nProgramme:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n7.00am – Collect your free WAP umbrella.
– WAP Bazaar starts. Shop for bargains and souvenirs.
– Free blood sugar, blood pressure, and body mass index tests
8.00am – Welcome address by PSLEM President
– Launch of Walk-a-Payung by YB Deputy Minister of Health
8.30am – Flag off
9.00am – Walkers arrive back. Collect your goodie bags and breakfast.
– Continue to shop at the Bazaar.
– Counselling by SLE para-counsellors, dieticians, physiotherapist.
9.30am – Fun activities for the children
to – Win prizes at a Fun Quiz on SLE.
12noon – Lucky Draw<\/p>\n

Note: T-shirt sizes will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis. <\/i><\/p>\n
Rules and Regulations<\/span>
1. There is no age limit for participation, however individuals below the age of 18 on 22 May 2011 must obtain the prior consent of their parent or guardian. Children below 12 years of age on 22 May 2011 can join the walk with their parents or guardian for free, but are not eligible for the umbrella, t-shirt and sunglasses or spectacle frame, and the lucky draw.<\/p>\n2. On 22 May 2011, walkers must wear their Walk-a-Payung t-shirt and keep their umbrellas open during the duration of the walk. They have to follow the demarcated 3-km route where the starting and ending points will be Dataran Petaling Jaya, Jalan Timur, Petaling Jaya. (Note<\/i>: Corporate Team members can choose to wear their company t-shirts and use their company umbrellas.)<\/p>\n
3. PSLEM will not be responsible for online registration and payment that is not received because of system or communication failure. All online registered participants will receive an acknowledgment of payment for the registration by the appointed payment gateway company, Netbuilder (M) Sdn Bhd.<\/p>\n
4. On 14 & 15 May 2011, when online registrants come to collect their t-shirt and sunglasses or spectacle frame, a WAP ticket will be given upon presentation of their copy of acknowledgment of payment for their on-line registration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
